Intriguingly, hungry chimps harassed their neighbour more when the food was cut into small chunks. This could reflect the fact that a beggar is more likely to get a handout if it doesn't seriously deplete the donor's stash.Got me wondering whether the same applied to knowledge sharing. If it does, then presumably those most likely to share are those who feel they have a lot to spare. And they may not always be the experts.
